Burials outside the place of death

The document for the transport of the deceased is issued by the competent sanitary inspector according to the place of death if the deceased is being buried outside the place (outside the jurisdiction of that county) of his or her death.

Documents that are required for the issuing of the certificate:
 

• a compiled form that is obtained at the sanitary inspection
• death certificate
• confirmation from the cemetery or crematorium of where the person will be buried (or the confirmation that they have a secured grave)
• a copy of the vehicle registration of the funeral vehicle that will transfer the deceased
• identity card or some other document with a photo of the applicant for inspection during the application.
• the certificate can be obtained by the funeral agency in Zagreb in the name of the family.
